We're back!

We're back from Winter Break with a vengeance!  We have already taken down and cleaned from Christmas and Bigger than T-Rex arrived today.  This is a crazy-busy time (when is it not) but it is so exciting.  This will be our first major exhibit in our newly remodeled gallery.  The bones on the ground don't look like they take up much space but I know when they are assembled they are going to be a huge exhibit.  I have heard so many people say how excited they are for this exhibit.  If there's one exhibit that should bring you to the museum, let this be it.  Who doesn't love dinosaurs?  I don't care if you're over your "dino phase" because they are still fascinating creatures.  This is going to be an awesome exhibit.  Stay tuned for more information about family days which will be the last Saturday of the month during the run of the show.  I will post times and more information as they come.

On a more internal note, I have been in my new office since right before Christmas.  I love it.  Absolutely love it.  It is still weird being in the main gallery with a window on my door.  It's like working in a fish bowl.  I'm very glad they didn't put the giant window in the wall of my workspace.  I know people like to see curators work but really…it's weird.  It's also distracting, because if I see movement I have to look up and see what it is.  It's a good thing there aren't any windows to the outside in here.
