Don't miss the Lea County Cowboy Hall of Fame annual Staked Plains Round-Up!! This event happens this Thursday and Friday (September 15 and 16) from 9am-3pm. We have on average about 2,000 local school children who attend this event. The public is welcome to attend as well. You won't want to miss Brice Chapman the famous trick roper. Other attractions include demonstrations such as butter churning and sheep shearing, a petting zoo, games and more! You also won't want to miss the authentic chuck wagon lunch.
